Cameo

Cameo is an American funk and R&B group known for horn-driven hits in the 1970s and synth-funk pop breakthrough in the mid-1980s, especially “Word Up!” and “Candy.” Formed in New York by Larry Blackmon, they later relocated to Atlanta and released chart-topping material through their Atlanta Artists label.
