Kaoru Akimoto 秋元薫

Kaoru Akimoto is a Japanese J-pop singer associated with kayōkyoku, active through the 1980s and 1990s. She is known for the 1986 album Cologne and the song "Dress Down", later revived during the city pop resurgence, and for her vocals on video game soundtracks as well as backup singing.
