Renato Carosone
Renato Carosone was an Italian Neapolitan singer and pianist associated with jazz-influenced swing applied to the traditional Italian songbook. He is regarded as the father of Neapolitan singing and is especially known for the postwar hit “Tu vuo’ fa’ l’americano,” along with “Maruzzella” and “O Sarracino.”
