Yumi Arai 荒井由実

Yumi Arai is a Japanese pop and rock songwriter and vocalist who later used the surname Matsutoya. Active since 1972, she is known for chart-topping releases and composing songs that became hits for other Japanese artists, with her music also used in Studio Ghibli films.
