Herbie Hancock

Herbie Hancock is an American jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader known for shaping modern jazz through landmark work with Miles Davis and groundbreaking electronic and jazz-funk innovations, from Mwandishi to Head Hunters. Chicago-born, he is also recognized for later experimental production collaborations and for continuing to cross between jazz and pop while composing and recording across decades.
