Raul Seixas

Raul Seixas was a Brazilian rock musician who helped establish Brazilian rock, mixing rock and baião and leaving an influential catalogue that continues to be covered by artists such as Caetano Veloso and Margareth Menezes. He is especially known for hits like “Ouro de Tolo,” “Tente Outra Vez,” and “Gitâ,” and for his pivotal stage presence at the 1972 International Song Festival.
