No
No te preocupes por mí
Don't worry about me
Aquí todo sigue igual
Here everything remains the same
Como cuando estabas tú
Just like when you were here
Sí
Yes
Es cierto que no hay calor
It's true there's no warmth
Ni en la casa y el olor
Not in the house and the scent
De tu cuerpo sin igual
Of your unmatched body
Ya
Already
Ya la fuente se secó
The fountain has dried up
El canario ya murió
The canary has already died
Pero aquí no hay novedad
But here, nothing has changed
No
No te preocupes por mí
Don't worry about me
Aquí todo sigue igual
Here, everything stays the same
Como cuando estabas tú
Just like when you were here
It's true the rosebush no longer blooms
Ni el amor de mis amores
Nor the love of my loves
Nunca más ha de volver
Will ever return again
Los niños me preguntan por su madre
The children ask me about their mother
Cuando miran que su padre
When they see that their father
Ya se muere de llorar
Is dying from crying
Quisiera que me hicieras mucha falta
I wish you missed me a lot
Y gritarte que regresen
And shout for you to come back
Pero aquí no hay novedad
But here there's nothing new
No
No te preocupes por mí
Don't worry about me
Aquí todo sigue igual
Here everything remains the same
Como cuando estabas tú
As when you were here
De veras que todo sigue igual
Really, everything stays the same
The paintings hang on the walls just as you placed them
Tus sandalias están en su lugar
Your sandals are right where they belong
And even your bathrobe is where you left it
The only thing that has changed is the mirror
Now every time I look at it, it reflects a figure
Con unas sombras profundas bajo mis ojos
With deep shadows under my eyes
Y unas arrugas que empiezan a amenazar mi rostro
And wrinkles that start to threaten my face
El rostro que tantas veces acariciaste tú
The face that you caressed so many times
Quisiera que me hicieras mucha falta
I wish I could feel your absence deeply
Y gritarte que regresen
And scream for you to come back
Pero aquí no hay novedad
But here nothing's changed
No
No te preocupes por mí
Don't worry about me
Aquí todo sigue igual
Here everything stays the same
Como cuando estabas tú
Just like when you were here
