The sea splashes on the blue shore
The horizon is shrouded in mist
About mysterious things
That sea speaks to me
And I stand in the early morning
Above the green wave
I have three wishes
There's no little golden fish
Three wishes, three wishes
I have only three wishes
There's no little golden fish
The sea tells me all about losses
That hide away at the bottom
Well, of course, I believe
In the blue sea just fine
And I stand here in the early morning
Above the green wave
I have three wishes
There's no little golden fish
Three wishes, three wishes
I have just three wishes
There’s no golden little fish
A fish with a sly little grin
Flashed by here and there
Our fish has grown quite wise
Doesn't come to the shores
And I stand in the early morning
Above the green wave
I have three wishes
There’s no golden little fish
Three wishes, three wishes
I have just three wishes
No golden fish around
